Provenance: Edward Drummond Libbey. Purchased from Dr. Giorgio Fallani in 1956. This piece was actually in-

cluded as an alien piece in the restoration of a Red-Figure cup in the TMA collection. It was covered with black

paint and only discovered when the cup was cleaned. Toledo Museum of Art Accession no. 1985.12
