Egyptian Steatite Seal with Cartouche of Thutmose III, “Menkhepere”

The reverse side shows a winged Bes figure surrounded by two winged uraei at top (with a nefer sign in front
of one of them, meaning “goodness” or “perfection”) and two symbols at bottom that look like city walls. This
side of the plaque isn’t really translatable (except for the nefer sign) -- the images were just selected for their
protective significance. 1 1/32 x 1 1/8 in.; Greatest thickness: 9/32 in.
