This map shows lots 9, 10, and 11 of Block 31 divided into five smaller lots for Charles Butler
Esq. The lots are bordered by the streets of Clark and Superior as well as an alley to the east. In
script, A. Kassen (Justice of the Peace) notes that William B. Ogden appeared before him as
Charles Butler’s attorney in fact on May 27
th
of 1850. Two days later, L.D. Hoard (Recorder)
filed this map in Book of Maps No.29, page 105.
Condition:
Light foxing with some marginal tears, the largest of which extends 1.5 inches, just
reaching the manuscript at bottom right.
